Cooper Tea was founded by B.W. Cooper in 1994. He was raised amongst the tea fields of Kenya, East Africa. Barry Wesley’s (BW) lifelong romance with tea has taken him to the far tea producing corners of the world. His award-winning book “Silver Spoons, Mad Baboons’ and Other tales of Tea” describes the many adventures that lead to the creation of Cooper Tea Company, in the picturesque foothills of Boulder Colorado. Award winning, patent holding — Barry’s innovation and vision has prioritized sustainability, fair trade, and the emerging Organic world from the earliest days on.

Nearly six decades later, the dedication and drive of Barry’s craft carries on, tasting teas and developing products with his sons and team working alongside him. Cooper’s quest for adventure, untamed authenticity, and the pursuit of the perfect cup of tea is evident in every artisanal, hand selected beverage that we offer.
